Air Blast Heat Exchanger

Complying with API 661 / ISO 13706 and the design specifications of Shell, Aramco, BP, ADCO, Gasco, KOC & PDO. Coolers can be supplied with plug or coverplate type headers, with or without fan redundancy, forced or induced draught configuration in carbon, stainless, duplex and super-duplex materials. A range of winterisation options can be offered in accordance with API 661 Annex C.

Bearing Cooler

Design using our high performance copper wire fin to maximise cooling capacity in a minimum envelope. Coolers can be certified to ASME ‘U’ stamp if required.

Applications
cooling of horizontal & vertical bearings in industrial and marine applications using water.

Motor / Generator Cooler

Manufactured for the marine, offshore or industrial sectors, coolers can be designed in accordance client’s specifications (Shell, BP, ARAMCO etc) with the addition of ASME VIII and “U” stamp if required. A wide range of surfaces and materials are available depending on the process conditions. For extra security a leak detector system is available which employs double wall tube to ensure cooling medium does not enter the generator.

Chillers / Heater Batteries

The design can be tailored to suit a particular application where there may be restrictions on pressure drop, likelihood of heavy condensing and fouling.

gas turbine air intake chilling / frost protection, steam or hot water air heaters.

Fluidised Bed

Finned tube heat exchangers for use in drying, heating, cooling applications. Either indirect heating/cooling of air or gas, or in direct contact with the fluidized product for greater thermal efficiency.

Applications
Typical applications in the chemical, minerals & metals, food and pharmaceutical industries.
Designs can incorporate a wide range of heat transfer surfaces and corrosion resistant materials dependent on the temperatures, pressures and thermal requirements of the application.

Seal System Coolers

Coolers are designed to ASME VIII with or without U stamp, can also be EC Directive compliant and consider client specifications such as SHELL DEP, KOC, Saudi Aramco, BP, ADCO etc. Coolers are generally a free standing vertical matrix design with round headers and aluminium ribbon type or SS wire loop externally finned tubes in CS, SS, Duplex or Super Duplex with a forced or induced airflow provided by a high efficiency fan and electric motor arrangement. Designs are tailored to suit the particular application requirements on bespoke thermal design software offering a compact, cost effective cooling solution whether that is as a single or twin matrix arrangement.

Natural Convection Heat Exchanger

Coolers are designed to ASME VIII with or without U stamp, can also be EC Directive compliant and consider client specifications such as SHELL DEP, KOC, Saudi Aramco, BP, ADCO etc. SS wire loop externally finned tubes in SS, Duplex or Super Duplex as half or full single and double coils c/w SS header manifolds with screwed or flanged process connections. Designs are tailored to suit the particular application requirements on bespoke thermal design software offering high heat dissipation in confined spaces. The special fin bonding process avoids crevice corrosion as can be experienced with laser welded type fin making the coil suitable for offshore applications.

Tubes

In addition to our own in house manufacture of extended surfaces, our sister company, Tube Fins Ltd also supplies an extensive range of finned tube extended surfaces to other heat exchanger manufacturers and to clients building their own heat transfer equipment. The company provides a wide range of finned pipe and tubes using ferrous and non-ferrous base tube with fins available in steel, aluminium or copper.
